Villa Elda — Panoramas of the Ligurian Riviera

Villa Elda is located between Genoa and France, in the picturesque area of the Ligurian Riviera delle Palme, in the characteristic Mediterranean borgo of Loano, renowned for its mild climate and stunning coastal scenery. The villa is a carefully restored and modernised farmhouse set in a dominant panoramic position. From here open enchanting views of the new port of Loano, Gallinara Island and the coast of Alassio, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Mediterranean landscape paintings.

The architecture of Villa Elda harmoniously combines the traditions of a Ligurian rural house with contemporary aesthetics. The space is surrounded by olive trees forming a natural green frame around the villa, while the solarium and panoramic swimming pool transform the garden into a true artistic landscape where light, water and nature create a harmonious composition for relaxation.

Villa Elda is set within a traditional two-storey farmhouse. The main entrance leads to a spacious and bright living room where rounded walls elegantly divide the different interior areas. Here you will find a relaxation area with TV and decorative fireplace, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to a covered terrace portico with dining area and a small outdoor kitchen.

To the right of the entrance there is a guest bathroom and a double bedroom. From the living room, a terracotta staircase leads to the upper level where a spacious hall is used as a relaxation area. From here there is access to a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. The sleeping area includes two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom: one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. A large garage is located on the basement level.

The artistic and cultural heritage of the Ligurian Riviera is deeply connected with nature, light and the calm rhythm of Mediterranean life. Sea panoramas, olive groves and historic borgos have inspired artists and architects for centuries. Villa Elda harmonises with the aesthetics of the work by Anatoly Gostev “Green Bottle and Pears” — a still life where the simplicity of objects, soft light and natural colours create an atmosphere of calm and harmony. This dialogue between the villa’s architecture, the nature of Liguria and art transforms the space into a source of aesthetic inspiration.

The grounds of Villa Elda are surrounded by a flat fenced garden with green lawn and olive trees creating natural shaded areas. In front of the villa there is a paved solarium area surrounding the elegant swimming pool. Nearby stands a stone portico with dining area and outdoor kitchen, directly connected to the main living spaces — the kitchen and the living room.

The garden resembles an artistic composition: soft landscape lines, the silvery leaves of olive trees, reflections of sunlight on the pool water and panoramas of the Ligurian coast create an atmosphere of tranquillity and aesthetic pleasure.

The main feature of the outdoor space is a magnificent panoramic irregular-shaped swimming pool located just a few metres from the ground-floor level. The ceramic-lined pool measures approximately 15 × 13 metres and reaches a depth of 1.80 m.

Access to the water is via elegant Roman steps, and the spacious solarium area is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. Here guests can enjoy views of the sea, Gallinara Island and the picturesque coast of Alassio. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.
